Crab illuminated box – Commission piece
Enquire about this itemThis was a commission, the brief was that the clients wanted a piece to portray her Zodiac Sign (Cancer) and her love of crabs. I initially supplied 4 different drawings. The client chose the one in gallery.
The main construction is slab work with the crab being hand moulded, the piece was initially raku fired. Acrylic paint were tan used to finish the piece. LED lighting was placed internally with a remote control to operate and allow lights to change colour.
As you may of guessed the client was was very happy with the finished piece.
